I thought I had a great idea. I have been dancing, teaching, and competing Latin for over 6 years now and I have always hated, and continue to hate dance shoes.

Those suede soled shoes felt great the first week, but after that, regardless of how much I brushed them, I always felt they were too slick. I thought, “What if I combine the feel and low maintenance of jazz sneakers with the look of latin shoes?” Thus, the NeverBrush™ shoe was born. I even made a video to show how cool they were.

Important Notes!

Turns out that the shoes didn't turn out as great as I had hoped. Let me get the bad stuff out of the way:

• Though some customers LOVED them, others have found the bottoms to be too sticky.
• Some of our customers have reported that the sole on the heel peels off during toe releases.

This news really bummed me out, but here are some solutions:

• You can have the shoes resoled with suede (costs $15-$20), turning them into regular latin shoes.
• If you like how the soles feel, you can pick up a tube of shoe glue at Target that will repair the peeling on the heel.

Even though these fixes aren't that difficult to perform, I'm embarassed that you may have to deal with them anyway, so I'm closing these out to make a better shoe without the issues present in this first run. If you pick up a tube of shoe glue, you've got nice sticky latin shoes for $40. If you get them resoled with suede, you've got a standard latin shoe for $57, both good deals. I'm closing these out, no refunds or exchanges. $23 for a pair of shoes that look great, require little maintenance, keep their grip, and with a little extra cash, can be turned into traditional suede soled shoes.
